Because of the NHS-wide nursing strike and the shortage of nursing staff, I ended up staying late at work, caring for sick and dying patients. I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nail appointment afterward. I called to explain my situation, letting them know I might be late and asking if they had any later slots available. The response I got was pretty cold, with one-word answers. The woman on the line kept insisting that they wouldn’t refund me, which I already knew, and I told her that. I just wanted to find out when I could reschedule since I could be flexible. There was no friendliness or understanding in her tone, which is just bad customer service. I felt shocked and upset after spending 12-13 hours trying to keep people alive, and I really needed some stress relief. Eventually, the lady reluctantly rebooked me for another day, but her sharp, uninterested tone made it seem like I was bothering her by asking to change my appointment. I called a few other nail bars in the area, and they were all warm, understanding, and professional—none of which I experienced at Trieu Nails. Thankfully, I found a new local nail bar that truly puts clients first. I had previously overlooked how dirty the salon was during my visits, but honestly, they could have used the time between clients to clean up a bit.

I needed to get my nails done in a hurry for a video shoot, so I couldn’t make it to my regular salon. I've always had pretty strong natural nails and usually get shellac on them. The lady who worked on my nails filed them down way too much, and now they’re super thin—like, you can see the pink of my skin underneath.

My nails only held up for a week before they started chipping and breaking because they’re so fragile.

They claimed to have applied gel, but that wasn’t true. When I went to my usual place to have them removed, the texture was totally different, and it took forever to get them off.

If you care about your nails, steer clear of this salon.

It’s gonna take me weeks to recover from the damage they caused.

I've been to this nail salon a bunch of times - the staff is really nice, accommodating, and skilled! Rezia was amazing and did an awesome job! I definitely suggest checking out this place.

I showed up on Thursday around 1pm for a pedicure and some acrylics. I walked out at 5pm, and let me tell you, my therapist Cristina was super slow and did a really poor job on my hands and feet. The nail shape was awful, and the varnish application was just as bad on both my hands and feet. I’m definitely not planning to return. The other staff seemed nice, so you might want to give them a shot if you're interested.

I returned to Rani at Trieu for a complete acrylic set and, just like always, I’m thrilled with how it turned out! She’s incredibly skilled and nails it every time. And if that’s not enough, she’s a total gem. Definitely recommend her!
